Smoothie with Hemp Pistacio spread on muffins
Someone asked me how I stayed fit and in shape. My answer was simple. I don’t deprive myself of anything that I want to eat, and I keep my hind end up and moving! It helps when you only like really healthy and nutrient packed foods. Once you start eating only these types of foods, if and when you have something processed, the additives make you feel terrible.
I just invented another smoothie today because I am out of most of my regular ingredients. It’s not only refreshing, but healthy to mix it up now and then.
1. Coconut milk
2. Acai juice
4. Hemp powder
5. Protein powder
6. Vanilla almond milk
7. Wheat germ
9. Ice cubes
Blend.Creamy and filling. I paired it with whole wheat and flaxseed English muffin with a recent discovery, Hemp and Pistacio spread! Non of this is even remotely low in fat, just delicious. I won’t be hungry until 3:00 which is when I have a big lunch and then I just have small taste of everything at dinner. If you have any great ingredients that you like to use, let me know!
